Ilahia School of Management Studies (ISMS), the newest offshoot of Ilahia College of Engineering and Technology (ICET), started functioning in the year 2009. The idea of starting a B-school was conceptualised with the objective of moulding future managers utilising the excellent infrastructure and facilities available in the campus.
The School nurtures the vision of everyone who dreams of becoming a corporate highflier. The exceptional teaching faculty, Wi-Fi campus, diverse management titles, journals, magazines and business dailies in the library, the brilliant classroom facilities, the incomparable pedagogy, outstanding infrastructure added to the admirable vision and commitment of management and their team of academic and administrative faculties make ISMS a one-stop shop for higher studies in business management.
Our unique MBA programme is designed to facilitate our students to enhance the learning of the hard skills of economics, finance, marketing, operations, accounting and management and the soft skills of leadership, teamwork, ethics and communication that are very vital for effective and efficient management of any enterprise. These skills are imparted by applying brilliant teaching methodology including classroom and outdoor activities. Our classroom activities include lectures, case discussions, seminars, presentations and assignments. Our outdoor activities include industry visits, field surveys, finishing school and workshops by internationally acclaimed resource persons.
ISMS has plans to start research and consultancy wing for better industry-institution interaction which would cater to better placements for our budding managers. As the first initiative, we propose to bring out a biannual management journal which will publish research articles of industry experts and academicians of national and international repute, the faculty members and select articles of students.
ISMS would be announcing commencement of two Post Graduate management programmes viz. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which would be an autonomous course approved by the AICTE and a two-year twinning programme in collaboration with a foreign university wherein the student will be doing first year in the campus and second year in the foreign university.
