The IT and CS departments were merged together and worked as a single unit from the time the college started. The IT Department, started functioning independently from 2006. The Department aims at offering a conducive environment for academic excellence and stimulates students to excel in all areas of Technology.  The IT Department works under the leadership of Prof. Anu V.R., the Head of Department. The Department has an excellent team of committed and experienced faculty working towards the betterment of the student society. The department has to its achievements a hi-tech and state-of-the-art IT Block. The It Block provides the most modern infrastructural facilities and modern labs with 200 terminals on a LAN with 2Mbps Internet connectivity.  The IT Block contains a Browsing Zone which can accommodate up to 66 students at a time.  24 hours Internet facility is provided here. The Block houses a Server room, consisting of Sun Ray Servers, IBM AIX server and one IBM Windows Server. In addition the Block also contains Advanced programming zone, Multimedia Zone, Hardware Zone, Digital and Department Libraries and hi fi Classrooms and most modern teaching advancement technologies..In addition to the regular curriculum the students are provided with .Net training classes and project development sessions.
