The department started functioning in 2005 with a mission to train the students to excel in this fast developing world. Asst.Prof. Shaji .M Jamal is the head of the civil department. All the staff members are actively participating in the construction as well as development activities of the college. The first batch from this department is passed out in 2009 and all of them are placed in reputed firms now. The department is concerned in improving the quality and skills of staff and students. For that, various training programs and seminars are conducted frequently. As part of quality improvement, every year, a staff member is deputed for higher studies. Labs with modern machines make this course useful for students to become a good civil engineer The department is functioning very efficient, with well qualified, hard working faculty and with well equipped laboratories.
